Margherita

Margherita is a chair with the name and the character of a flower, the simple, playful and authentically unpretentious Daisy flower.

In a very suggestive location, a hidden Milanese garden with a fabulous greenhouse, Angelo Grassi presented during Milan Design Week 2009 his bouncy and cheerful chair made of a circular stainless steel structure and a net of an elastic and highly resistant rope, which is hand woven over the frame in a concentric, flower-like pattern that behaves elastically.
The resulting seating experience becomes playful and informal, an enjoyable opportunity to spend some light-hearted time outdoors and to rediscover the child in you.

There was no human trace of Eugeni Quitllet and we thought, for a brief moment, that he could be an invention, some sort of imaginary alter ego created by his famously provocative partner. But shortly after all this revealed to be a product of our unquiet imagination: he is for real, thank goodness.
