Milan Design Week 09: B&B

B&B outdoors collection is truly delightful; the tactile quality of natural fibres together with the strength of metal and weatherproof textiles plus Urquiola's traditional-yet-contemporary flavoured design make a warm and relaxing collection.

Milan Design Week 09 - B&B

The high backrests woven in natural fibres and bronze strings give a strong personality to the Crinoline's series designed by Patricia Urquiola; the rest is all in the details: cushions attached with wooden buttons, a beautiful poncho cover for the armchair in contrasting colours, and the weaved flower motifs in the backrests.
Also from the Spanish designer Ravel, a large and linear modular sofa enriched by the woven of polyethylene of the backrest, which was inspired in the sea and its people, fishermen. Atelier Oi designed Reel, a versatile object that can be either a low seat or a table made of an aluminium frame and natural fibre strings or polyethylene threads wrapped around it creating a complex geometrical pattern.
